Currently it has more than 100 million video clips, and the number is constantly growing. Users can control the content as they upload videos and choose which videos are most popular through number of views and a rating system. Another site that is used for videos is Miro. Miro is labeled as an Internet television application. Unlike youtube where videos are accessed through the Internet, mirro is an opensource software that must be downloaded to the users hard drive. Once the software is downloaded you can use it to download videos and other media to the users hard drive.
