Online Photosharing been around for several years now, but didn't become mainstream until Flickr was created. Photos are such an important part of so many people, and this gives them a way to share apart of themselves with the rest of the world. You can tag your pictures, which simply describes your pictures. You can also blog, and join groups that have the same interest or hobbies.
