The final Web 2.0 technology tool to look at this week is Social Networking. Social networks are websites such as facebook and myspace, that allows online communication to anyone who is a member of the website. With the growing number of social networking sites, this is a great way for people to reach out to a world that is seemingly unreachable without it. You can join and create groups that relate to specific interests, or hobbies. For example, a teacher can create a group that relates to the class, and members of the class, or anyone who is interested in the class can join the group.

6. Go to www.facebook.com and create a facebook account
7. On the bottom of the page, click the group icon, and either join a Madonna University Group that interests you, or create one yourself.
